Well, I got one un-cloudy night from my dark site - oooooh!
I'd forgotten what the milky way looked like. Everything I wanted to see was there even down to the lowest mag possible for my scope. Galaxys, Nebulas, binaries and anything else you'd care to view, including some nocturnal flying rats.
It all lasted only an hour or so until cloud moved in but even 'er indoors had to admit that a dark sky was something to behold.
