Carl Sagan’s Cosmos. was created by Kerry Stargazer
I have just finished watching Carl Sagan award winning Cosmos television programme. I first watched this programme as a young teenager and was totality captivated by the way Carl Sagan so effortlessly guided us through from the origin of the universe right up to present day, was a delight to behold again.

Although his programme is now more than twenty five years old and the special effects now dated it still did not detracted from shear brilliance of the man. I particularly liked the additional commentary added in at the end of the original series which gave up dates to items discussed in his programmes.

Many of the subjects disused such as Dark Matter, planetary exploration and the existence of planets out side or own system speculative at the time have now become established scientific fact. (Dark Matter?)

What a great loss his was to all mankind when passed away in the late nineties.

Carl's loss is still lamented today, and probably for a long time to come  He was probably the best communicator on the subject of astronomy the world has ever seen.

I’ve still got that book cost me £10 sterling back in 1981, still review it from time to time. :D
