Luckily enough for us solar observers we have had here and there some nice clear patches during the day before the clouds moved in later on.
Please do not blame me... cause I also have a scope for night time observing and the last time it was clear enough to use that one was half way July

I don't have the exact figure, but between November and December 2004 my figure was a little over 4 weeks of continuous cloud from my perspective, and in a 6 week period (it was a mental note) there were 5 clear nights worth observing under.

Last night time (imaging) session for me was may 19th. Thank god for Hydorgen Alpha even then I've got to the stage where I'm looking for 6 inch holes in the clouds to see the Sun

Anywhere I've been with warm seas also had stunning starlit skies without a cloud in, sight Silversurfer.
