another weather satellite site

ladies and gents,
i don't know if any of you have come across this site before but it could be quite useful. it displays satellite images in visible, infrared and water vapour. you can also from the image control box run an animation of images take previously so you can see which way the clouds are moving and the gaps in them .

I know, I have promoted my own site on this form before, but only because it has the best weather info of the web on it already.
If you check it out you will find satellite images in visible, infra-red, radar and and animation, all at the touch of a button and with compatibility for mobile connections.
I found the eumetsat website frustrating to use and some of the images didn't load or were very slow.

Saw this on the LX90 website. may be of interest to some of you.

Metcheck Cloudcast can be useful, but there is a bug in the model (I
confirmed this with the firms MD) which assumes that the sky will be clear
if the humidity level drops past a certain point, regardless of any other
indicators...
This is particularly irritating in winter where near or below freezing
conditions can result in very low humidity, Cloudcast shows 2% cloud and in
reality you get 80% cloud. Ok if it¹s just a matter of back garden
observing, but annoying when you have to load up and travel to your
observing site as I do!
Also it¹s very dynamic, I check it immediately before leaving as it¹s been
known to change from 10% to 50% cloud cover in a matter of half an hour.

I find that sequence satellite cloud cover maps are the best source of
information, providing you can extrapolate from the previous 24 hours cloud
movement.
