New Topic, New User, and other E-mail notification problem

Hi folks,
It has been brought to the attention of the Web Team that there are no outgoing IFAS e-mails being received. The affected areas are:

New Topic Notification (by e-mail)
New User Account Activation
Mass E-mail
Private Message Notification

New users awaiting their account registration activation will have to be patient please! Our overall Webmaster, Bart Busshotts, is looking into the probelm very soon (it does take time, y'know!), but we hope to solve the problem as quickly as possible.

Please note, the suffering e-mails maybe be spooled and are awaiting delivery, so when the problem is fixed, there may be a flood of e-mails into your respective inboxes.

Your PM service appears unaffected.

It would seem that there was backlog somewhere because all the emails have since been delivered.

Problem solved so!
