Death of Moira Moseley

I know a lot of people here received an e-mail with the sad news today, but for those of you on these boards not on Terry Moseley's e-mail list, I am taking the liberty of letting you know here.

His wife, Moira, passed away recently. The funeral is tomorrow (Thursday). Terry will be away from his e-mails for a few days, so he may not (wish to) receive any e-mails for the moment. Suffice to say, some of us have already expressed sympathies on behalf of ourselves, the clubs we represent, and IFAS members.

Some IFAS members will be travelling to the funeral tomorrow. Details will be posted here soon by the committee of a donation we (IFAS) will try to make to the Alzheimers Society of Northern Ireland, as per her request instead of flowers.

All our thoughts and sympathies are with Terry and Moira's families and close friends.

I saw that sad news today. Poor Terry. Even amogst all his sadness he still managed to include some astronomy in his newsletter.
