Podcast - HELP NEEDED was created by voyager
Hi all,
I'd normally be starting work on the podcast for next month at this stage of the month but I've come down with a chest infection and can't say more than about 4 words without coughing. I can still edit the show together and even do up script for the various articles I'd normally do but I'm going to need someone to record them for me!
The following really need to be done:
1) Binocular Target of the Month
2) What's in the Sky for February 2007
And I'd also like to get an interview in but that means we need both a volunteer interviewer as well as interviewee!
Thanks,
Bart.

OK, I have a volunteer for the Binocular Target so I just need someone for the sky guide and ideally an interviewee and an interviewer.
Thanks,
Bart.

Bart. I'll do the 'whats in the sky' for Feb, if you like. I've got it all done for the A&S Sky Diary anyway. What do you need me to do?

The perfect situation would be for you to record the piece and email it to me as an MP3 or similar format.
Feel free to put your own spin on the piece. My basic formula is to start with solar system objects, first the planets in order (I don't do Pluto), then any comets or very bright asteroids and then any good meteor showers. Then I like to just go through the constellations that will be up in the sky and point out some of the nicest deeps sky objects for binoculars and small telescopes. But, like I said, feel free to do your own thing, I'm not picky!
Thanks!
Bart.

OK no worries,
the obvious two questions are how long should it be and when do you need it for?

On the first question I'm very flexible, I think when I do it it usually comes to about 15 minutes but anything from 10 to 30 minutes is fine!
As for when, the 28th of January would be ideal.
Thanks,
Bart.
