APOD was created by Perseus
I have the "Astronomy Picture of the Day " website as my home page.
Always great pictures however I was so blown away by todays one that I had to share it.

I'm not seeing the lightning but the comet with the fireworks is well cool!

Use the scroll bar on the bottom of the page to scroll over and see the lightning.
