Everyone in Ireland buys Meade, and they all buy them from Lidl.
Non-existent Topics was created by jhonan
Sometimes when I click on a topic header from the main page, I just get an error message 'topic does not exist'.
For example, at the moment there is a link on the main page;
# Publication quality graphics - By albertw
When I click it I get;
"The topic or post you requested does not exist"
Is this on a 'hidden' part of the board, or has the topic been moved or deleted?
The curiosity is killing me! :lol:

...and we're not revealing anymore John! So don't bother grovelling to find out more from us - our lips are sealed tighter than a Durabond-sealed bank safe!

Sorry about that earlier reply John - I actually planned to write more, but the "nappies and bottles" chorus started up and so I couldn't write anything else. :oops: Apologies for the gobshitedness!
As Conor pointed out, a lot of those topics have to do with the Observing Certificates Working Group. Six of us are preparing the IFAS Observing Challenges Programme for its official launch at Whirlpool in September and Bart very kindly gave us a private forum so we could hold committee meetings virtually. We did meet up once, but it's hard to get people who live so far apart to meet up regularly to find a common time that suits everyone, and besides, when we do meet up all we want to do is bitch about light pollution and talk about telescopes!
All will be revealed on Saturday 18 September, and trust us; it will be worth waiting for!

OK, I'll have to re-write the code so that it only shows links to public topics.
Thanks for pointing out this little boo boo!
