It would take quite a hefty wind to deflect a vertically falling meteorite conveniently sideways and into a window.
I'll bet she bought a meteorite on Ebay and threw it through her own window.
Remember the "The Riddler" from the comic books?
Peter.

Now.. if she was able to pass that off as a fake that would be awsome!
Can anyone remember....I know its off the point sorta....
but about a guy who years ago worked in a quarry and had a passing interest in fossles?
he 'made' a fossle of a lizard thing and put birds fethers into it and set it in the mud of the slate quarry.....then when it had dried he pretended to have...
'happend' upon it and lo and behold...there was the missing link... the link between dinos and birds......
anyone?

If she bought it on e-bay then it almost certainly ain't the real thing. A real metorite that size would cost crazy money!! If it really did crash through her window then she's in for a big windfall.
I wish something like that would come crashing through my window!!
I wonder if someone faked it and then threw it through her window.

I have plenty of rocks in my back garden, call them meteorites if you wish as they were in space before, approx 4 billion years ago.
This sounds like aload of feldercarb to me.
