Not sure if this is where to put this post.
There's a programme about the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) on BBC2 Tuesday at 9pm (as far as I can remember). It's one of those Horizon programmes so it should be good.

Thanks! I would have missed that.
I just hope that they don't go off on tangents about how the LHC can create black holes and we're all going to die...
There are some very fundamental questions in particle physics, the LHC will hopefully be able to answer them. (Or more likley create new questions that the string theory heads will have to invent a few dozen more dimensions to explain )

Thanks! I would have missed that.

From the pre programme blurb it would appear that they are advertising for every 'end of the world nutter' or 'God fearing person' to tune in. One side will cry 'I told you so' while the other will shout 'Blasphemy'
