We sure haven't been lucky this summer. A whole month since the last clear sky. Been trying to get one venus shot a month to record the phase change but haven't had been able to get a gap in the clouds since the 3rd of June.

I had a look back at my astro imaging logs and seen that there was very little done in 2003 2004 2005 during the month of June, there were 5 nights I imaged in June 2006, so this year is not abnormal, we just got spoilt by a great few weeks in the late spring.

This summer has been very poor alright, but if you go back to last Ocotber, my own count of clear skies versus cloudy ones is about 1:4 i.e., since October, we had 1 clear night (worth observing, it could have still been cloudy) for every 4 (1 in 5?).
