I knew it. The Pluto debate was only the beginning.
The way things are going soon we will be having detailed discussions about when a pebble becomes a rock, when a rock becomes a stone, then a boulder etc.
When does a hill become a mountain I wonder?
All semantic nonsense.
Peter.

Hi,
Although it is necessarily arbitrary we could adopt 100m as the dividing line between a moon and a orbiting rock.
The same is done with asteroids and meteoroids.
