Notice also that the webcam is downwind of the mount, so as soon as a large ejection happens you cant see a dam thing!

No, I didn't see that John. I am waiting for them to put the video footage showing the plumes from Friday and Monday gone.

Maybe a nice size eruption may give us a lovely dark Lunar Eclipse, now wouldent that be something to talk about. R

Its pre dawn at the volcano, but the webcam is picking up light from the crater. Possible eruption?
News sites have been reporting lava breaking the surface, but I didnt think that would register on a webcam at that distance at night.

It looks like lava at the top - glowing orange. But could be a reflection of the sun?
