IFAS Do it Again! was created by Neill
Hi all,

Got my sky at night mag this morning and our honoury member Anthony Ayiomamitis got photo of the month for the Venus/Moon occultation from June. In addition Paul Evans got his NLC pic from July 8th also in the mag. Both are excellent pics.

Neill,

Thanks for the confirmation. I think I will be receiving a Celestron NexImage unit (fancy webcam) and which I will pass on to a friend just getting his first steps into astrophotography.

I sent them a few minutes ago by three recent nebulae (Cocoon, Iris and Crescent) and they immediately responded by asking for the Iris image. Yes!

Well done guys. I also saw Frank that an ISS pass over a beach from you is in Astronomy Now this month. Anto, my mind is wondering...

Thanks Neill,

Apart from Anto and myself there's a Tom O'Donohughe of Dublin with M27 and Deirdre Kelleghan's Saturn occultation artwork wins letter of the week whilst NI amateur astronomer Stephen McGovern is featured in "Me and my scope", so despite the weather (the trees are turning gold up here!) we're getting well represented being the little island with only 10% of the people of the big island!

Clear skies,

Paul.

Congrats as well to the individuals mentioned by Paul. Nice seeing so much activity and success from (friendly) faces/names.
