I think if someone believes in spirituality they have a right to write about it . i don't think it is fair to detract from the fact that their books actually sell!
I used to be quite religious in my early years but I also have a brain, and logical and scientific technique lead me to believe in science not any religious sect.
1. Mainstream religion is not a "sect".
2. It is not proven as you assert that disbelieving is a result of maturity.
3. It is not proven as you assert that athiesm is a logical conclusion.

However I do support Dawkins defence of Science against mindless citicism and physical attacks by the believers.
