I have been meaning to get round to posting some guide lines for posteres and moderators for a while now so here goes version 0.1!
These guideleines will most probably need ot be amended and added to in the future but this is a start anyhow.
All posters should follow these guidelines and it is up to moderators to police them in their boards.
1) No user should ever abuse or insult another user. You can dissagree with them to your heart's content and argue with them till the cows come home but please remain civil at all times.
2) No user should ever post material that is copy righted to these boards. If you wish to discuss a news item or image from another site please post a link to the item rather than a copy of the item to avoid legal problems.
3) No user should post libelous comments on these boards (again to avoid getting into legal hot water).
4) Users should be aware that this is a public forum that can be viewed by anyone so for their own safety they should never post any sensative personal information on these boards (phone numbers etc..). Users can share this information with each other if they wish but should do so over Private Messages or Email. Moderators should delete all personal phone numbers etc on sight.
5) It is in the best interests of everyone if threads stay on topic. If you wish to take a thread off on a new tangent you should start a new thread instead.
6) Have fun and rember that the webmaster and moderators are always interested to hear any suggestiond you may have to improve this place.
