11pm: Bt=49.9nT, Bz=-44.6nT (South)
The sky is really orange everywhere!, oh wait thats light pollution and rain...
Forecast if overcast for the next couple of days.
Not sure that it reaches this far south though. (The aurora not the clouds!)
Cheers,
~Al

Everyone in Ireland buys Meade, and they all buy them from Lidl.

Cloudy here in Saggart. Also just phoned my parents and it's overcast and rainy in Kerry....
A.I. email said they could see the display clearly from Delgany... ??

I suppose it could have been clearer earlier in the evening, but then again this is the same group that described venus and jupiter in the morning sky as (and I quote!) "THE MORNING SKY IS ABLAZE!".

Hi All,
There is a magnetic storm going on at present. There are reports coming in from Scotland and as far south as Harrowgate in England. Also reports from Germany as well. As I type this there is a lull in the storm (otherwise I would be outside watching )
Reports are stating that activity ranges from high to moderate and they are all seeing it through gaps in overhead cloud.
A red alert has just arrived in from Aurorawatch in the UK!
Keep watching,
Brian

Just grabbed the midnight satelite images. It should be clearing a bit (well cluds thinning at least) from the south. Wexford to Limerick looks clear, still 100% overcast in Dublin though.
Cheers,
~Al (giving up and going to bed!)
Must be very small gaps, the Germans are under more cloud than we are (or the satellites are lying). Also reports from Germany as well.
