I had a great view from near the Sallygap with John Flannery (photos on the way- BE WANRNED!. Lots of green pillars arcing towards the zenith. Some red in there too. A very nice display, exceeding that of October 2003.
I know Galway had a view too.

Things started happening abt 4pm yesterday, great night on vhf last night working long haul morse to nearly 2000km via the auroral reflective area, normally vhf contacts of over 400km are difficult
