I just saw on metcheck that this current storm is now named Isaac and is speeding for a rendezvous with the south west early Sunday morning. Gusts of over 130kph are possible there, so if you're down that way, better batten down the hatches and stay indoors unless you must go out.

On the plus side, for those in the north and east, winds should die down a bit later this evening and with clear skies there might even be a touch of frost!

Sunday night and monday look like good nights for astronomy.

So all in all not good news if you're a sheep but better if you're an astronomer.

Take care out there.

Regards and Clear Skies,

Dave.
