NEWGRANGE was created by pmgisme
It is exactly 40 years (today Friday 21 Dec.) since Prof. O’Kelly discovered that the entrance passage in Newgrange points directly at the rising sun on winter solstice.
It is the world’s oldest known astronomical observatory.
Nothing is known of the prehistoric culture that built Newgrange 5000 years ago.
But no doubt genetically we are “themâ€.
You can see the sun’s rays shine right to the end of the passage live today 21st Dec. and tomorrow.
(Sent this earlier but it got lost in cyberspace.)
