You'd think they would have come up with a better acronym then that!!

All the same, its looks like a fantastic site for astronomy, imagine trying to observe at -90 celsius and half atmospheric pressure. :shock:

Interestingly,you can listen to the skies on Long Wave, Medium Wave and FM (88-108 MHz) at that locatinon because you are out of reach of terrestrial transmitters.

So if aliens are broadcasting on 96FM you can hear them there,and nowhere else on earth.
