Just noticed on the RTE Business web site that "EU cuts last red tape blocking internal trade" www.rte.ie/business/2008/0221/eu.html
I'm wondering how will this effect buying equipment from European retailers who won't ship certain astronomical brands abroad??
Any thoughts

Hi Joanna,
I don't think it'll make much difference to astronomy equipment, for instance celestron's restrictive distribution rules are imposed by celestron, not by member EU states.
