I this book any Good?

I seen a book by patrick moore in town. astronomy 2005 or something like that :roll: (definatly 2005 though).
Does anyone have it and if so, is it any good?

I quickly glanced through the book in town last Saturday but I feel that it is really only worthwhile for the articles; I've got to the stage where the sky notes part of P.M.'s book is not good enough to supplement those in the monthly magazines and so I couldn't justify paying over 20 euro for it.

it's a venerable tome but the IAS "Sky-High" guide is down in the book section of Easons for only five euro -- this gives a far more detailed guide to the night sky for the year ahead. The 2005 edition isn't out yet but we're working on it Sorry about the unashamed plug

Arcturus (download free on this site in the FILES section and the ARCTURUS subdirectory) has very detailed sky notes as well. (another plug!)
