Did you know.............. was created by pj30something
that the weight of Earth increases every year by about 3000 Kilo due to the mass of meteorite material that is deposited here every year by meteorites.

So thats why I find it hard to get out of bed on a Monday morning. Best excuse ever 'Sorry boss but gravitational attraction has increased and it took me ages to get up'
Not to worry though the mass increase is balanced by the loss to space of all the hot air expelled by us amateurs while screaming profanities at clouds.

Interesting point....Makes me wonder at what point will the junk we send into space on an annual basis balance the amount that lands in the form of solar system debris hummm.... (strokes non existant beard thoughtfully)

Now there's a t-shirt print if I ever saw one.
As for earth putting on weight.
I wouldn't worry about it.
It'd take a huge amount of time for it to matter.
(see I made a funny - 'matter')

Frank, this has been going on for the past 4.500.000.000 years. Ain't it huge enough for you to start worrying?
What if the critical time is 4.500.000.001 years? brrrrrrrrr
