Was this picture taken from Clare a few weeks ago ? I guess the cooling down period for the scopes would not be a problem!

And there we were complaining about the cold.
One big problem for them was not breathing on the eyepiece....
instant freeze!

-80C?. Would your GOTO still work? Grease would probably freeze - LCD would be unreadable, SLR would be unusable, batteries would be dead in minutes? - However the scopes in that picture look to be off the shelf stuff.
