Done. (Hope you don't mind the direct cut and paste job!)

Everyone in Ireland buys Meade, and they all buy them from Lidl.

Good idea.... but you may get duplications. I replied to this last night.

Well, what I meant is to add as many members names as possible to the letter. I also changed the We are concerned to Tullamore AS is concerned and so on.

I got about 30 'signatures' to the email I sent, all as TAS members. Hope none of them mind!

No it doesn't! If you are really concerned, you'll send it again!

The deadline for mails to Prof. McBreen has been extended until Tuesday 14th. So if you havent replied yet please do so.

I've been told that an altered version of the Professors email has been circulated asking people to send a mail to an astronomy.ie address instead of directly to Prof. McBreen. To simplify the sorting of addresses, and to comply with Prof. McBreens request can you please disregard this other email if you recieve it and email Prof. McBreen directly at brian.mcbreen@ucd.ie

Cheers,

Al,

With due respect. Your info is incorrect. The mail sent by AI asking people to support this worthy cause has not been altered in any way. It is copied verbatim. A message from AI supporting the campaign is included.
Also astronomy.ie has consulted with Prof McBreen and is assisting him with the collation of responses from AI sources. Unless someone has been using astronomy.ie without the permission of its owners I'm fairly certain nothing else went out. (I generally get a copy of everything that goes out of astronomy.ie).

Of course if you have already submitted your e-signature/affiliation it goes without saying that you needed/shouldnt send it twice.

Clear Skies,

Dave.

Regards and Clear Skies,

Dave.
