Sombrero and Iris was created by John D
On the 9th of May, there is a conjunction of the Sombrero Galaxy (M104) and the asteroid Iris. Iris will only (appear to) miss M104 by a fraction of a degree.

By the way, it was last night, not the 9th, that the event took place.
