Astronomical Manuscript at Marsh's Library Dublin
26 July 2004 - 1 Feburary 2005

Early printed works by Newton, Kepler, and Galileo, a 14th-century astronomical manuscript in Irish, and the first description of a transit of Venus (1630s)....

You can see all this and more in a new exhibition at the Marsh's Library, beside St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin. Engravings of early telescopes, and star and lunar maps will also be on display. The exhibition runs into 2005.
