Have you ever noticed that all the groups east of the shannon are "societies" and in the west they're "clubs" ??

Yet ANOTHER problem caused by Cromwell! :wink:


Better keep Shannonside as a club rather than shannonside astronomy society.
I can see it now, a nice dark night, as the Gardai pull up to chat to Mr. Lillis and co out observing with heavy duty mounts capable of tracking satellites and telescopes that could read a registration plate a mile away...

Garda: So who are ye then lads?
