Good luck with the new club Darragh. I had seen some of your posts over on the photography-ireland forum and there's some great interest in the hobby. Hope you had a good trip to New York!

Yep. Best of Luck.

Would love to hear how good B&H was.

Thanks lads

B&H was good, a bit too good especially with the dollar rate at the time ($1.58 = €1)
It was my 2nd visit to B&H
The girlfriend and myself went straight for the photography section on the 2nd floor passing by the telescope section.
I only got a quick glimpse of it but they have a few big scopes there.
Upstairs there is about 2000-3000 sq metres of just photography gear with 60 shops assistants sitting at a counter that goes the whole way around the wall.
You have to queue up to talk to an assistant and they will show anything you want. If you have a camera, you can bring it with you to try out lenses, etc.
Once you decide what you want, they stick it in a crate and spend it on their conveyor system and you can wander around and pick up more stuff.
We spent far too much in the photography section, so didn't look anywhere else. We ran down the stairs, paid for the gear and collected our stuff in a panicked hurry realising how much we had spent.
It's a great place to have a look around but if you are going in, may sure you know your budget as you could spend rings around yourself with all the toys they have
