Looks good for tonight was created by Frank Ryan
Finally.
tonight looks like it will be good.
Some fog in low areas and a little hazy but
hey! No clouds hopefully!

I'm so ill prepared I don't even know what to look at!

Seems like the weather god favours the west. These cloud bands that keep rolling in off the atlantic all summer while ruining all our viewing most of the time have a nasty habit of being synchronised with the Dublin area day/night cycle. ie. what few clear patches between cloudbands have crossed the country this summer have been synchronised to give the west cloudy days and clear nights and the east is getting the clear days and cloudy nights.

Most people on this side of the country would say we in the east are getting the better deal except we astronomers are a contrary sort. :D

There was a very nice full moon last nice, I just had to sit down on the patio for a few mins with a hot cup of tea and just look at it.
What are the chances of it staying clear until the weekend, ?
