Fantastic!
This kind of work must be very satisifing.
You do the sciences and education a great service Deirdre.
You should be commended for it.
Some of those drawings are really very good.

Deirdre,
I second Frank's sentiment. This is magnificent stuff. I really hope you appreciate the tremendous service you do. If this country is to have a prosperous future, it will only be by encouraging the kids to participate in science related activity and taking that a step further into their future careers.
You do all of this with such enthusiasm and selflessness.
Long may you continue with your wonderful vocation!

Thanks Frank and Dave , Deadly Moons gets a great reaction from children ,I enjoy running it and the children produce extraordinary drawings. A sample of 50 - 60 drawings from children all over Ireland will be on display in Birr Castle Science Center from September 18th till mid November.
Approx 2000 children have taken part in the workshop over the last 18 months or so. The feedback is very interesting.
Dr Carolina Odman International Project Manager for UNAWE will open the exhibition of both children's and adults work 5:30 pm on September 18th.
Next Public Workshop is
My Museum Series May 24th National Museum Kildare Street Dublin.
Deadly Moons a Moon drawing workshop for children age 7 - 10 years
Free event No booking required 3pm - 4pm
