Volunteers Wanted

One of thi biggest advantage of this BB system over the Yahoo group is that each different seciton can be assigned different moderators so I don't have to keep an eye on everything!

I would like volunteers to moderate the following sections:
1) General
2) Clubs
3) Observing
4) Astro Photography

Em... where are the moderation rules/guidelines?

I suppose I could handle Observing or Astrophotography, unless of course more experienced observers or photographers want to do it. I'm not an expert (or even close!) on either subject, but neither topic should be too controvercial so it cant be that hard to moderate!

OK Bart, I volunteer to moderate the general forum (if ever I can figure out my way around this place...

BTW I did send a post to the cosmology section, but it doesn't appear to have arrived. But I probably did something wrong.

OK, I have made sdbell Moderator of all the Boards in the General Section and IO have made albertw Moderator of all the Boards in the Observation Section.

I am still looking for volunteers for all the other boards!

As for guide lines ... they are very much still under development but for now go with

"Make sure we can't get sued and make sure no one abuses anyone else"
