Pity, I was looking forward to some observing tonihht
but the scumbag that nicked my Jeep today had other plans for me
So I'm back home in Shannon looking out at an empty driveway and
clear skies feeling, you might say, a wee bit 'peeved' at it all.

Although sort of like a sketch from D'unbelevables.
When I saw it missing I went to the cop shop
as I just thought they had towed it but they had no
record of an impound.
So, I got a cab home and the cabbie kindly asked for
the reg and stuck it on a postie on his dash and said he'd
keep an eye out for it.
On his return from Shannon to Limerick he spotted the Jeep
parked in the Bus lane at the back of the cop shop so he rang it in.
Turns out,
the Army were having a parade in town today and decided to
'move' my Jeep (they actually drove it) but forgot to tell
the cops where.
So I'm :woohoo: & : angry: all at the same time.
Nicely enough of them they hid all my gear under a blanket in
the back...
TBH.
I'm more miffed at loosing a precious clear night!!!!!!
It BETTER stay clear as it's supposed to.
Hey! The Kiwi was right again

far from it!God you're very calm about the whole episode, are you in the army or something?
I sweat the small stuff..which is worse.
I'm kinda glad this happened...
puts things into perspective.
Anyway, it's just a 'thing' it can be replaced.
I found out yesterday that a friend of mine, his
girlfriend was killed in a car crash heading to the airport
to fly over to see him for the weekend.
So...

Well it was parked on the main street in Limerick at 12 noon.Thats bizarre that they would get it into their heads to do something like that without knocking or leaving a note, even if the guards did that I think it would still be illegal
?
I'm pretty sure the 'state' eg army can move civillian vehicals
if they choose to if they are impeeding them, war or parade
it makes no odds.
It's a wierd country for laws we live in.

Well, coz I'm sort of scopeless,Anyway lovely night here in Galway, apart from the moon that is,
I broke out the Lidl 70mm that I have been planning to use for
photography and had a good old gander around,
especially at the Moon!
At least I got my fix tonight.

I'm actually waiting for Venus to show itself this morning...
Mars can be dissapointing even in a reasonably large scope..
Ya it's on the way back alright...
Since I last saw it a few nights ago it's ripping down Gemini.
