Three Laws of Astronomy was created by dmolloy
FIRST LAW:
All moonless nights will be cloudy and rainy
SECOND LAW:
The eyepiece you want, you left on the kitchen table beneath a 100 watt bulb.
THIRD LAW:
By the time you get outside with it....See FIRST LAW

This is an addendum to the first Law.
It is however always stupendously clear around Full moon.

...but lads you forgot the most important law of all, the fourth law which states;
The chances of clear skies on any given night =
Where t is the time in days since you last bought a new piece of equipment and c is the cost in euro of the aforementioned equipment
