Earth hour has begun was created by Frank Ryan
Sydney opera house and harbour bridge
went lights out at 8:30 pm local time.
It'll be interesting to watch as the earth hour
travels across the globe.
So don't forget to turn your lights off at 8:30.
And then get in some observing.
(pity bout the moon) :-)

There's a nice set of photos showing famous places during earth hour and then afterwards when the lights came back on. Just shows how what a un-necessary wasteful society we are.

It comes across as if the caption writer is pro waste.

Lights off - (they leave blank - obviously like thier mind)
Lights on - 'the wonderful blah blah balh emerges from the darkness and
springs forth into the night' etc...
