Wooly hat time ! Winter arrives

Well folks, good news in general with many clear nights ahead this week, except maybe on tuesday or so with some cloud primarily on the eastern side of the country, many very cold and frosty nights to come however it has been forcast that there is a possible chance of snow on the ground (mainly over the north & east) by this tme next week

Ok the moon is full tonight but get out there when you can, hopefully though the roads will stay dry

OH that sounds like my kind of moon weather Tesco has some lovely warm ear muffs cheap and Vero Moda has really cosy helmet type hats with lots of fur at the moment. Happy viewing to all. 53 Degrees North is a great place for winter gear and the best head lights for sketching.

So I hear!! News from the homeland is that 4 inches of snow fell last night alone in waterford city, and in many other places too. Here in Cavan it was -11C this morning :woohoo:
