Depends on what size ir is. The largest one is a 90mm and it costs about $10k. The smallest one is the maxscope 40mm which retails at around $1,700, although depends on what bandpass and filter type you want.

Seanie, it must be the 90mm scope for that kinda price, that not bad, if you can afford it!

Everyone in Ireland buys Meade, and they all buy them from Lidl.

I spotted it on buy&sell online earlier in the week. Here it is;
Coronado Max Scope.With stacked 60mm 0.5A filter stack, sun finder, mounting rings, hard travel case, visual, film, C.C.D use, as new, €7,000

That costs well over $5k new in the US. In the UK, it seems to cost well over Stg£6k. Overall, it's not a bad price to ask, considering the UK price.

I'd love to see if that person is someone who won it as a prize! Then slap them for ripping it off!
:evil:
Otherwise, why sell such a thing? I know you can count the sunny days on almost 1 hand in Ireland, but still - if I spent all that money on a Coronado, I sure as hell would not sell it! And if I won one, I don't think I'd sell it for that much...
Still, hope it gets a good home.
Seanie.
