Maybe some of you work in the type of places mentioned in this message from JH Jones of JPl/NASA and could qualify for an invitation to the 15th birthday party for the Hubble Space Telescope ! I am just passing this information on so check it out if you work for a museum, science center or a planetarium. Item 3 below.

1. This mornings Cassini CHARM telecon featured Dr. Jonathan Lunine. His talk was called "Titan: First Views of an Alien World". The presentation material is already on the website here: saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/multimedia/products/...ct-presentations.cfm . The Wav (or audio) file will be there in a few days. There were a lot of questions and answers, so I am sure some of you will enjoy hearing the audio file.

2. Beautiful images in the raw image gallery today. If the current images of Saturn, Enceladus and Titan were not enough, there are some really beautiful images to be found in the Raw Images Gallery today. saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/multimedia/images/raw/index.cfm . Click on browse on 500 latest raw images. Pages 4 and 5 show Mimas against nearly edge-on rings of Saturn. Pages 5, 6 and 7 show Dione and Tethys. This raw image of Iapetus is great too: saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/multimedia/images/ra...cfm?feiImageID=33173 .

3. Not exactly Cassini related. The Hubble Space Telescope is celebrating its 15th birthday soon.and the Space Telescope Science Institute outreach office is planning a party. There is an application form (due by March 4) on their website which invites museums, science centers and planetariums to enter a "lottery" for a special Hubble display. Only 40 institutions will be selected, but since many of you work or volunteer at these kind of institutions, I asked if I could pass this on to the Saturn Observation Campaign members and they said "sure". Remember it is only for museums, science centers and planetariums, and you might check to make sure no one else at your institution has already applied. Here is the link: hubblesource.stsci.edu/ Click on "Happy Birthday Hubble" and you will see the questions that make up the application. I also asked if they would consider making a "mini-kit" for amateur astronomy clubs, and although they didn't say "yes" they said they were thinking about it. If and when I hear more, I'll let you know. There are other outreach products on the Hubblesource website.

That's all from rainy southern California today. Jane
