Irish Astronomical Society - Membership Problems was created by BrianOHalloran
Hi all.
Has anyone had problems with membership applications for the IAS? Sent off an application two months ago - and I'm still waiting. Sent countless emails to their listed email address, no replies. The cheque has been cashed - I presume by them. To say I'm hacked off about this would be a distinct understatement........
All the best.

PS: The CME arrived yesterday morning @ 0627 UT - some brief storming over North America for a few hours. Region 486 did leave off probbaly the biggest recorded flare yesterday evening - X20+!!!! Pity it was all the way out on the limb..... imagine THAT aurora!

brian,
sorry to hear that you are having problems with your membership of the ias. i am not sure who is looking after that email address. i copied your post to the ias mailing list on yahoo groups and maybe i will get a reply there, don't know if there is a problem with the ias email address but it should get a reply.
stephen.

Everyone in Ireland buys Meade, and they all buy them from Lidl.
