At around 1:00am(times recorded by observing partner) the Auroras were nearly gone but out of nowwhere a hughe beam appeared which was very thick and was as high as cassiopeia followed by another about 9 beams which moved across the sky, the beams were of a sort of green colour. The Aurora was always there on a low arc bases about 5deg from the horizon but seemed to come in waves of strong outbursts of activity.
