I won't get down 'til at least 9pm as something has come up which means I can't leave Dublin 'til about 4pm.

Have the workshop done up and the talk/demos will last about an hour.

Just to give a taster, my talk is based around the idea of Joe Orman's list linked to as a pdf in the first paragraph on the page at www.aeromoe.com/_100nakedeye.html (which is the author's slightly different take on the list). By the time you get down we should all be staring at Saturn setting in the West.

Hope to get there in time to catch the ringed-planet and Mars. I noticed there is an ISS pass on Saturday evening that bisects the two planets ... should be a nice sight.

Heavens-Above also lists a bright Iridium flare after 4am on both Saturday and Sunday mornings in the head of Orion (near lambda Orionis). That should be quite dramatic too for astro-photographers.
