Hi All
Latest details on the Burren Star Party.
A number of SAC members booked into Louges Lodge Hotel in Ballyvaughan .
Current weather forcast looks promising for the weekend,
If either Friday or Saturday is cloudy, people will head back to Louges Lodge.
Observing site is Poulnabrone dolmen
8km, (5mi) from Ballyvaughan
Head from Ballyvaughan towards Lisdoonvarna, turn on to R480,. 3-4km passed the Aillwee Caves.

Plan of events.
Friday Depart Louges Lodge Hotel at 7:00.
Site setup and ready for 8:00
Observing till late.
Saturday Dinner in local pub / resturant 5:00pm, for those interested in eating as a group. (picked on the Firday night during observing).
Again depart hotel at 7:00, and site setup at 8:00
Observing till late.
Lots of things to do Ballyvaughan on the Saturday.
Relax and enjoy Ballyvaughan, Lisdoonvarna, Doolan.

Sorry I can't make it to the Star Party this weekend folks but have a fab time and wishing you wonderful clear skies. The Institute of Physics in Ireland have their one-day Frontiers of Physics conference this Saturday in Dublin which I'm booked in for.
