Astronomy Course for Beginners commences in Malahide Community School on Tuesday September 23rd. It will consist of 10 weekly sessions from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. and will include topics such as Planets of the Solar System, galaxies, a brief history of astronomy, a primer on choosing a telescope, the latest happenings in space and much more. Additionally, a number of practical sessions under the stars will be arranged to develop a familiarity with the night sky. Tutor: John Daly.
