IAS Sidewalk astronomy at Sandymount 3rd October 2014

Hello All,

The IAS will be meeting at the Martello Tower car-park on Sandymount at 8PM to observe the 9 day old Moon.

As the event is weather dependent Please check the website ( www.irishastrosoc.org ) before attending.

Hope to see you all there.

I hope the afternoon rain will clear by evening. Rupes Recta will be on the Moon. And the Moon itself will be very close to Alpha and Beta Capricorni. Alpha is quadruple star, and Beta is a triple. I will there if the weather people are correct.

Hi All,
The weather forecast for this evening is dreadful so we have decided to cancel our Sandymount sidewalk astronomy event.
Hope we get better weather next month.
