Terry Moseley, widely regarded as Ireland’s leading amateur astronomer, will give a talk "Our Sun: Friend or Foe?". 8pm, in UCC’s Civil Engineering Building, room 110 (this is near UCC’s College Road entrance). Please arrive 10 minutes early. If you want to join, at 7:30 please.
This is Cork Astronomy Club ’s monthly meeting, free admission. It closes at 9:40 pm but you are welcome to stay for tea afterwards, and to join our Club (€30 annual subscription, concession €20, family €35).
