Hi all,

We've been working away in the background on the IFAS Calendar for 2016 and plan to officially launch it very soon. In the meantime there's a sample available to download from www.dropbox.com/s/8zkpwvwah24wjwc/astro_...ndar_sample.pdf?dl=1 (620k)

Many thanks to all who entered their images to the photo poll. The pictures really enhance the calendar.

John

As with last year's calendar, the information here, all in one place and available on a mini planner type calendar (my wife is always entering 'whatever' on the daily squares) is absolutely brilliant. I hope there are many young people referring to the 'events' after being drawn to the photographs.....a sure winning formula for budding astronomers/photographers.....whatever. Unsure if is too late or even possible: but working on the assumption that the calendar will reach many households not in any way connected with 'astronomy', how about adding something like...".Why not contact your nearest club"...... followed by any and all club contacts throughout the island of Ireland. If not this year....plan it in for next year....I am sure there will good reason to keep this project going!

Looking good, John, look forward to hanging it on the wall.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.
