“The Invisible Universe: there’s more to Astronomy than meets the Eye!” is the title of Tom Bonner’s talk at Cork Astronomy Club’s January meeting. Will focus on the many aspects of astronomy outside the visible and across the wider ranges of the electro-magnetic spectrum. Tom is a prominent amateur astronomer and a member of Cork Astronomy Club.
8pm, in UCC’s Civil Engineering Building, room 110 (this is near UCC’s College Road entrance). Please arrive 10 minutes early. If you want to join, at 7:40 please. This is Cork Astronomy Club ’s monthly meeting, free admission. It closes at 9:40 pm but you are welcome to stay for tea afterwards, and to join our Club (€30 annual subscription, concession €20).
