Hi All,
The clubs committee has let me know that they're running the clubs annual April observing nights from Thursday the 14th to Saturday the 16th, from 8pm onwards at O'Callaghans strand , Limerick.
This sprung from the IYA a numbers of years back, an observing week that the club kept going.
This is a free public event, the club will have its 2 telescopes there and will have the Moon and Jupiter on view.
Feel free to bring your own telescope with you if you wish.
This event was decided a while back, it wasn't intended to clash with Cosmos, next year a clash will be avoided.
For more details and updates, see the clubs facebook page.
